Being Present

While others make a distinction between them I consider being present to be the same as being mindful.

It's an awareness of the present moment. It's when things are happening and you know that they're happening as they're happening. It's a meta-knowing. You're watching what's happening and you know that you're watching what's happening.

Did any of that make sense? If not go meditate more and either it'll start making sense or it won't. Either way is fine, don't get hung up on specific outcomes (that's non-attachment).
