Good and Evil

Good and Evil are stupid ideas that we need to get rid of. Look at the natural world and find good or evil for me. I'm sure there are many things that you'll point to and you will be wrong for all of them. Good and evil are fictional creations of humans, part of the fairy tales that we love to invent and then believe. Would be better served to speak of skillful and unskillful. And I here you ask, “aren't those just different words for the same thing?” and the answer is… sort of, but not quite, but the important thing is that they're not loaded words.

If you call someone good or evil you are praising or damning them in an absolute way and that is a stupid thing to do. Also, if you call someone evil you leave them no path to redemption. You encourage them to go ahead and be evil by putting them in a corner because you're a genius who never learned anything about cornered animals.
