Of course humanity isn't a monolith and doesn't have a single philosophy. Nevertheless, we can generalize and say that the bulk of humanity has some pretty shitty philosophy that can be more or less summed as ...

  * He who has the gold makes the rules.
  * Everyone should live according to my beliefs.

  * It's a dog eat dog world.
  * Fuck you, I got mine.

There are very few people that would claim any of those as their personal philosophy and yet, I think those sum up most societies in the world. 

Isn't it odd that our societies don't reflect our personal philosophies? Not really, you only need a smallish number of assholes to game the system and fuck it up for everyone else.
